AN INADVERTENT MEETING WITH ASTRONAUT GORDON COOPER (1991) …

I do not claim to believe the following information. Yet I do not claim not to believe the following information. I am simply a messenger, conveying info that was shared with me …

In approximately 1991 I was working at a healing center near Chicago which served Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease patients. At the time, former President Ronald Reagan was experiencing dementia. In an effort to reverse the condition, Reagan’s medical team considered every alternative. One was the clinic where I worked part-time (administration). To test the effectiveness of the clinic’s proposed treatment (intermittent injections of Chorionic Gonadatropin, Estrogen, Testosterone, etc.), Reagan sent two of his pals who were experiencing early symptoms of similar dysfunction (short-term memory loss, etc.). He sent two pilots … the pilot of Reagan’s plane (I have forgotten his name – possibly Bill/Tom Paynter/Painter?) and former Astronaut Gordon Cooper. “Gordo” was played by Dennis Quaid in the film “The Right Stuff”. Cooper was the (final?) astronaut to fly solo in space, during the Mercury Space Program. He piloted Mercury9 and Gemini5. He held the then-record for most circles of the circumference of the Earth. In the film he’s portrayed as a young hot-shot — (“hot dog”) was his nickname.  Quick-witted, bright, capable.

When I met Astronaut Cooper, he was likely in his sixties. He appeared as he was described in the film — funny and obviously extremely smart. In a conversation he described himself “a good Christian” — he mentioned this to infer that he was of sound mind (not a stereotypical California “fruitcake/wacko” — sorry to Californians who read this!!!!); this was a preface to the statements (shortly following) that he would voluntarily share with me … He was DEFINITELY of sound mind. NO DOUBT. He was a close friend of Reagan (not that this notarizes one’s IQ or stability of mind) and, if memory serves me, was actively involved with an engineering firm in Southern California.  He was dressed in casual business attire.  On all accounts he seemed to be a razor-sharp guy — which one would anticipate when meeting a former member of America’s highest-performing elite — the astronauts.

The two pilots were at the clinic (near Chicago) for approximately one week. Each day they received injections of a combination of the three aforementioned meditations. They would walk the hallways, noting how they felt. Obviously this was exceptionally b-o-r-i-n-g for them. I, too, was bored at the clinic, pushing paper. By Friday afternoon it seemed that Mr. Cooper had had enough of the treatment. As the only people working in the office were myself, a physician and an attorney (whom I assisted), Mr. Cooper’s alternatives for conversation were slim. He entered my stark office at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.  He took a quick look at the barren walls and stack of documents that I was sifting through. He asked what I was doing. I quickly told him. He asked if I liked what I was doing. I told him that I wasn’t into it. He then said words that I will never forget.  “Andy, I’m going to share a bit of information that you may find interesting” [paraphrase] … presumably his goal was to brighten the slow-moving Friday afternoon. I told him that I doubted he could tell me anything that I hadn’t heard (or read) before. He assured me that his information was fresh although hearsay as mostly from second-hand sources (who were dear friends of his and thereby whom he believed to be 100 percent credible). Although I still had quite a bit of work to do, I stopped, turned and said “go for it” … [Careful what you ask for!]

Without hesitation he said that NASA is hiding an incredible amount of information from the public, to prevent mass hysteria. The info, of course, regards the existence of UFO’s, extraterrestrial life, etc. In retrospect, the info that he shared was identical to what he stated in UFO Magazine a year after our inadvertent meeting — with the exception that he told me more than what he shared in the subsequent interview.

In a nutshell, he said that he his first encounter with UFO’s (hundreds of varied sizes – for a day and a half) was in Germany in the 1951. He was at an airbase, on the ground, when a “squadron of flying disks” silently flew above at high altitude. He and other aviators jumped into their fighters and flew as quickly as possible to catch the UFO’s — but the ET’s were too fast. I don’t recall specific details. He said that UFO’s definitely exist. Not maybe. That ET’s definitely exist … and are among us on Earth. That the USofA government has met with ET’s. The ET’s have shared UFO technological information with the government.  Not maybe. He said other things – that I believe he told me in confidence, so I will not share these details.  But, suffice it to say, he absolutely, unequivocally stated that ET’s exist. He stated that a scientist-friend boarded a UFO near White Sands, New Mexico — and flew around the perimeter of the USofA in an hour (10,000 miles per hour). He said the craft was as-though electromagnetically-propelled and that the the “g-force” (gravitational force) aboard the UFO was 0.25 g’s (whereas Earth’s gravitational force is 1.0 g) — hence our atmosphere is more dense to what these particular ET’s were accustomed to. He said that an ET was living in the home of the scientist, I seem to recall near White Sands,  for approximately a year, before it could adapt to Earth’s dense gravitational pull.

FYI On U-Tube Mr. Cooper also talks about  a second encounter with UFO’s in 1957, when he saw a UFO land (on 3-leg tripod landing gear apparatus). This incident was filmed near Edwards Air Force Base. He also describes the experience of a friend who was flying a commercial airliner that was being trailed by a UFO which flew near its wing. Astronaut Cooper wrote a letter to the UN (Kurt Waldheim) to establish a committee regarding evidence of UFO’s. Of course his request was quietly denied.

I do not claim to believe any of the information that he shared. Yet I will not say I do not believe what he shared.  Again, I am simply a messenger — conveying info that was shared with me.

Sacred Geometry: Meditation on the Hebrew Alphabet

SACRED

sa·cred/ˈsākrid

Any tangible or intangible form or practice

that directly affects

the subconscious mind and core energetic template.

To understand sacred geometry, first we must define terms.

PROPOSED DEFINITION: “SACRED”. As I have found no technically-adept (i.e., energetically-descriptive) definition of the term “sacred”, I propose a new definition of “sacred” as follows – any tangible or intangible form or practice that directly affects the subconscious mind and core energetic template.

DEFINITION: GEOMETRY. Geometry, in this sense, goes beyond the tradition definition which infers merely a visual dimension of arrangement . A new definition of geometry, presented in the context of “sacred geometry” is, simply, tangible or intangible form – and so may be an arrangement of of visible, auditory, kinesthetic, aromatic or gustatory dimension. Note that this definition is inclusive in the aforementioned proposed definition of the term “sacred”.

There is great positive power in focus upon sacred geometry. Thus we may look, listen, sense movement, smell or taste cues (forms) that directly and immediately affect our core being. Examples of focus upon sacred geometry are looking at distinct shapes/colors, hearing distinct musical tones/rhythms, feeling distinct movement, smelling distinct odors, and tasting distinct tastes that directly (and immeditately) affect the subconscious mind and core energetic template. Karma

Yesterday I witnessed firsthand a profound example of (what may have been) karmic payback. However, because it regards two friends I am not at liberty to disclose details. Suffice it to say that their 25-plus-year conflict may have karmic implications which, yesterday, may have caused great challenge for one of the individuals (in front of a plethora of people – who were immediately and directly affected).

As they both may read this blog, and as I hold GREAT respect for both individuals, I must emphasize that as I am not a party to the conflict between, I remain Switzerland (neutral) with regard to an opinion. However, with that said, I will say that I wish there was a way to resolve the issues between – for many reasons. First, as both parties would consciously and subconsciously benefit from resolution. Secondly, as I – and many others – enjoy the product of their collaboration. Yet, unfortunately, the damage has already been done such that there seems to be no turning back the hands of time with regards to words spoken and actions taken.

In sum, it comes down to a couple steadfast cliches …

Cliché 1: We interact with others for a reason, a season, or a lifetime … [Read more...]

How to Find Your Life Purpose (And Service): Live a Purposeful, Meaningful Life

The thinking mind

The scattered monkeymind

is the enemy

For eternally shall it be distracted

By its obsession

With pursuit of certainty

Which does not exist.

Rather than guide us to

Our core life purpose and service

The monkeymind bull-rushes us

Through a lifetime maze

Of trial-and-error interactions

with people, objects and events

Which distract our focus

Away from a direct path

Of self-discovery.

If the thinking mind was profoundly intelligent

You would already know

Your life’s true purpose and service.

The answer to this riddle

Discovery of your true life purpose and service

Is readily accessible

But only via the inner voice

The whisper of intuition, dreams and synchronicity.

Your thinking mind will not reveal the answer.

Your inner voice will.

So the question becomes

How do we access the inner voice?

How to Gracefully Let Go (Accelerated Emotional Release)

(Written 25dec11, posted 10jan12))

Today is Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

The past 72 hours have been rough … on Thursday evening I lost my beloved dog (Charlie the dalmatian). On Friday evening a friend (who lives in a small Michigan town on the Canadian border to which I frequently escape) died. And yesterday (Saturday) a close college pal – with whom I played rugby and took a two-week motorcycle trip to Maine – told me MD’s said he has 4 months to live (as I’ve learned to take MD’s advice with more than a grain of salt, of course I’m praying for his full speedy recovery).

Indeed it’s been a rough couple days (understatement). So, as always, I ask myself, as does one of my teachers in every moment (namely, Tibetan Lama Arjia Rinpoche), “what is right action?” – i.e., what is the best thing I can do in this moment to benefit the Universe, Earth and all her inhabitants. The answer is … release any negativity by immediately engaging in conscious activity [see Voice of the Soul: A Call to Action], and only thereafter engage in service (once emotional stagnancy has been sufficiently released) – which, in this specific case, is to share insights gained from this experience through written word, this blog, to help any others who also are being challenged with profound loss and the process of letting go.

THEORY. The Tao Te Ching states that the three greatest virtues (i.e., the three most challenging fundamental life lessons to master) are compassion, patience and simplicity. To master these virtuous human traits, we must let go of attachment – to people, objects and events. We must learn to practice loving detachment – i.e., love without attachment which is tantamout to love without expectation, judgment and control. For example, we can develop patience only if we let go of the need for events to occur as quickly as we prefer (note that if we hold great faith – belief that we are always given precisely what we need in each moment – we effortlessly hold patience, again, as we know everything is exactly as it should be. We can develop compassion only if we let go of the need for someone to act as we prefer (i.e., we view them from our soul rather than ego, and thereby recognize the beauty and purity of their soul – overlooking the absurd thoughts, words and actions of their ego). And simplicity is gained by letting go of the limitless desires of the ego. But … how do we let go? [Read more...]

Weather 2012: Global Warming is a Scientific Fact

It is January 10, 2012. The temperature was in the fifties (Fahrenheit degrees) for the past couple days in Chicago. Repeat … temperature was in the fifties for consecutive days in Chicago, Illinois in January.  With no snow cover on the ground. In fact, it has only snowed once or twice all winter, only a couple inches, this winter. If you’re not familiar with Chicago’s (miserable!) winter weather, we traditionally have a couple substantial snow showers in November followed by considerable snow accumulation by Christmas and dreadful cold and snow in January. Rather, the weather has been – from a purely superficial, near-sighted perspective – pleasant (which is anything but pleasant when considering the potential future impact of this shift in weather patterns).

I hope this obvious weather shift is alarming to a majority of the world population … so we nudge politicians to regulate corporations to immediately take drastic action – rather than the new policies set which require governments and corporations to gradually cut down on emissions … beginning in 2020!  Gulp.  Sorry to announce this but … likely far too little far too late.

I am a United States Coast Guard-licensed 100-ton boat captain. During summers I pilot Red Witch, a 77-foot wooden two-masted gaff-rigged schooner on Lake Michigan from a homeport of Chicago. Red Witch offers 2-hour and 3-hour public sails and private charters from Burnham Harbor, in the museum campus, adjacent to Soldier Field (home of da Bears … go Bears!).  During winter months, I offer a few days of meditation sailing on a Cal 33, a 6-passenger sailboat, from Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles).

This service is offered for free – as I earn sufficient revenue from Red Witch such that I can ‘give back’ during winter months, offering free silent sailing on the Pacific Ocean. The price of admission is free – as I don’t want money to be an obstacle to one’s meditation practice. Yet, for those who have ample funds, donations are appreciated to help cover the cost of boat mooring, maintenance and airfare. TMI – I have always offered a sliding scale whenever offering healing services (ranging from free to $100 per hour for energywork and holistic psychenergetic consultation).  I felt that meditation on the sea is beneficial – especially to those who typically are unable to achieve inner stillness. Meditation sailing shifts one’s typical land-based paradigm, immediately presents an all-encompassing natural environment, and as water symbolizes our spiritual nature, it seems a supportive environment to letting go and dropping in. Creativity: Dance, Music, Visual Art

The processes of creation of dance, music and visual art can be a personally (and globally) transformative experience. Evidence exists supporting Paleolithic creation of visual art and, yet, although European evidence of primordial dance and music are less obvious, certainly earliest incarnations of humankind were creating visual art, dance and music. Why? Because …

Creativity is our birthright, our responsibility and our salvation!

Why is creativity our birthright?

As each of us – yes, every human inhabitant of Earth, believe it or not! – is wired from birth (primarily) as a dancer, artist or musician – regardless whether one’s potential for creativity is suppressed or supported.

To recognize whether you are a born artist, dancer or musician I challenge you to take a walk back to childhood … as a kid did you lose track of time more when engaged in movement (dance or athletics), creating visual art (i.e., drawing, sculpting, painting, etc.) or creating music (driving your parents crazy while banging on drums, piano, guitar, woodwinds, etc.)? Thus, from birth, you were wired as an artist, musician or dancer … your birthright!

Note that a common misnomer is that one must be societally judged as proficient at creation to be considered an artist, musician or dancer …

A Holistic Perspective of Weight Loss

The word holistic infers that body and mind are a single, integral unit and must be treated as such.  Why? The body and mind continually interface through the Central Nervous System and Endocrine System. Through these vehicles the body and mind exchange information. For example, when the mind perceives external stimuli that poses an imminent threat to survival, mind tells body, through the CNS’ motor neurons and endocrine system, to be ready for fight or flight. Conversely, when body senses something – such as something too hot to touch, it tells the mind through sensory neurons.

So … to effectively, efficiently and eternally lose weight, you must address the needs of both body and mind. If mind is not signed on to the program, then it’s likely that the results will be short-lived.

Drink 2 Liters of Water Per Day, Whether Working Out or Not

From experience I can tell you how NOT to lose weight … I was a high school and college wrestler. Our daily workouts were ridiculous. In any given day of practice it was not atypical for us to lose up to five pounds over the course of two hours. Of course this was mostly water loss. Unfortunately, I wrestled before the rules changed, as wrestlers are now tested to be certain they are not dehydrated. I recall a three-day period in which I was working out twice per day (4 hours) and yet didn’t drink any water – to lose pounds fast. My lame strategy was to lose water weight, then re-hydrate after weigh-in. This was a dangerous plan – especially as high school weigh-ins were only one hour before matches (and college weigh-ins were five hours before matches). It wasn’t atypical for high school (and college) wrestlers to vomit during matches – as they were dehydrated, couldn’t assimilate post-weigh-in water fast enough, and as we ate much food (since we were virtually starving) an hour (or five hours) before a match. To this day I refuse to eat Reese’s peanut butter eggs – as I ate many of them just before a college match (i.e., shall I understate the facts and simply suggest that the eggs didn’t sit well!).  I recall increasing my weight by 12 pounds from the time of weigh-in to post-dinner time.  Obviously an incredibly unhealthy diet plan! Of course I put on all the weight I lost after the wrestling season – so the diet was wholly ineffective. [Read more...]

Prophesy of the Mayan Long Calendar

What if the Mayan long calendar prophecy is accurate such that a major shift (a\k\a polar shift, apocalypse, Armageddon, doomsday, end of the world as we know it, etc.)  occurs on December 21, 2012?

  1. If notice was presented today that the prophesy of Mayan Long Calendar was guaranteed to occur as predicted on December 21, 2012, do you think that a disciplined monk, like the Dalai Lama, would (substantially) change his daily routine?

No, he most definitely would not substantially alter the structure of his daily practice (other than to increase the urgency of service to help others with this transition and to reduce focus on post-December 21, 2012 financial responsibilities).  Why not alter his daily structure? Because he lives with his focus only upon the present moment. Thereby he accesses his soul, not ego. And, thereby he accesses, through his inner voice (as the soul’s infinite wisdom is shared via dreams, intuition and synchronicity) his unique life purpose and life service—and so lives each moment in alignment with the truth of his highest life path.

As described in Encyclopedia of the Tao: A-to-Z, Tibetan Lama Arjia Rinpoche (responsible for Tibetan Buddhism in the US of A) asks himself a mantra in each moment, “What is right action?” He asks himself what is the best thing that he can do for humanity and the cosmos, in each moment. And, presumably, he acts upon the whisper of his intuition in each moment. If told that a polar shift will occur on December 21, 2012, do you think that he would change this mantra or practice? No way!  His inner voice might shift its message a bit, perhaps urging him to find ways to more quickly serve more people, but his daily practice (e.g., healthy food, meditation, creativity, service) would not be altered. His work would go on tomorrow as it did today-even if Lama Rinpoche was told with 100 percent assurance that a polar shift was imminent.

  2. Would you change your daily routine in any way if you knew that a cataclysmic event was definitely going to occur on December 21, 2012?

If the answer to this question is ‘yes’ (other than with regard to financial responsibilities after 21 December 11) … then, it matters not whether or not the Mayan prophesy is accurate.  It’s time for you to turn your focus to the present moment. And so access the voice of the soul—rather than ego, so you can innately gain access to your unique life purpose and life service. And live in alignment with the core truth of who you are, immediately … in this moment. And this moment. And this moment. Et al.

  3. Do you think that a cataclysmic event has a good, bad or indifferent impact on your personal evolution?

“All conditions are favorable.”
The Guru Who Prefers to Remain Nameless

Please note that there are many levels from which to approach this question. From one theoretic standpoint–like all experience, even a cataclysmic event is favorable, as we learn from all experiences. We will learn from the experience, if it occurs. Our souls will continue on their journeys, no matter what transpires.  And, should this experience occur, our souls will continue with enhanced self-understanding.

How to Release Stress (ASAP!! )

(Relieve anxiety, lower blood pressure, etc.)

See Voice of the Soul: A Call to Action for detailed explanation

To heal dysfunction, from a HOLISTIC perspective, we are a bodymind—as body and mind are an entwined unit. So, to heal any dysfunction, we must engage (i.e., heal) both body and mind. Quickest positive healing impact typically results from initially attending to the body, and thereafter approaching the mind. Why? The greatest density of stagnant energy is held in the body. The brain/mind holds energy of less density (greater subtlety). So, in the name of greatest efficiency, we can move the greatest quantity of energy by initially approaching the area of greatest density of stagnant energy (blocked physical and emotional energy) – i.e., by approaching the body.

Emotion is the body’s response to thought. What does this mean? From a holistic perspective, emotion is a bioenergetic response in the body that occurs in response to mental thought. For example, if we see that a brown bear is about to chase us, the mind registers a thought that we’re about to be chased by a bear. The mind’s thought is transcribed to the great endocrine glands which, in turn, secrete specific hormones into the bloodstream … which immediately travel to the internal organs and remainder of body – telling the body to be ready for fight or flight (wherein the latter course of action is advised!). The brain also sends messages to the body via the nervous system which activates the motor neurons for imminent action. Specific hormonal messages that reach specific internal organs communicate disparate messages to each organ. The liver responds with (and stores the bioenergetic template of) anger. Lungs store sadness. Kidneys store fear. Spleen, pancreas and stomach store worry.

So, rather than initially talk about the thoughts which we are feeling … a faster sense of release of stress is achieved if we initially move the body … which serves to massage the internal organs and cells of the body – accelerating release of toxins (physical and emotional) from every cell in the body. Similarly, drinking water helps to release cellular toxins – as emotional and physical toxins are water-soluble. Other activities help to release stress.  [Read more...]
